⋆ SETTING ⋆

Pineclan takes place in a redwood forest that was once inhabited by humans. The forest is extremely old, and has resided there for many, many decades. Due to it's once inhabitants, stone pathways and worn down wooden bridges can be spotted amongst the area. The cats of Pineclan have begun to use these pathways to find their ways to camps, food piles, good hunting areas, and simply a nice area to sit and share tongues with a foe.

The dens are located at the main camp, there are cat-made dens, and naturally made dens. Cat-made dens are generally weak, they are made from mud, feathers, and twigs, these dens are temporary and only used if they must be moved out temporarily. Natural made dens are made from stone, mainly out of boulders, and are packed with individual nests (unless for queens, whom share with kits) made of mud, feathers, skin/hide, and fur to keep the chilly nights warm.

The fresh-kill pile is amongst the main camp, just to the back, though, warriors who are over-night hunting stay by a much smaller camp with merely a couple cat-made dens, and a small fresh-kill pile of their own to keep them going.

The elders have an area of their own, like a retirement area. In this area is a very large den, and many higher-end nests. They are given this area specifically to avoid noise and to keep them happy and healthy. Of course, they travel to the main camp on their own to fetch fresh-kill, merely to visit, or just to strike up a conversation.
